Finish CQ block.
Finally I have finish to embellish my CQ block. I really did not know what to put on ,but by the same token I did not want a lot of other colors. I wanted to stay in the same hue as the background of the satin, I also wanted some brilliance to the piece. Hard decision what to use, I finally opt for gold and white small beads. and few pearls. This is to be a cushion for my bedroom and I wanted it to be very fancy. I hope I achieve what I wanted. I will be able to tell once the cushion is made.

Laurette.
Dear Mom,
ReplyDeletesuperb piece of work! I went back a couple of posts to see your last post on that CQ and there is such a big difference. It was lovely before but you have really done a great job with your embellishment. The gold and pearls really set it off without overdoing it. So proud of you mom, I knew that you would make it classy!
Hugs
Love Theresa
Hi Theresa, Tank you for your comment.I was hoping that my embellishment would be ,like you said classic, because I really wanted it to be special for my bed.I did not want to have other color to clash with the satin and I came up with the gold embellishment.
