Finally I have finish to embellish my CQ block. I really did not know what to put on ,but by the same token I did not want a lot of other colors. I wanted to stay in the same hue as the background of the satin, I also wanted some brilliance to the piece. Hard decision what to use, I finally opt for gold and white small beads. and few pearls. This is to be a cushion for my bedroom and I wanted it to be very fancy. I hope I achieve what I wanted. I will be able to tell once the cushion is made.
Thank you anonymous for your kind comment. It appreciated.
Judy,I am glad of your very nice comment.I realy was wondering about the embellishments as I said it is my first.I do have few more ideas about some more. You really gave me more confidence now.Big thank you. Laurette.
Dear Mom, superb piece of work! I went back a couple of posts to see your last post on that CQ and there is such a big difference. It was lovely before but you have really done a great job with your embellishment. The gold and pearls really set it off without overdoing it. So proud of you mom, I knew that you would make it classy! Hugs Love Theresa
Hi Theresa, Tank you for your comment.I was hoping that my embellishment would be ,like you said classic, because I really wanted it to be special for my bed.I did not want to have other color to clash with the satin and I came up with the gold embellishment. Laurette.
