I have been working at different color pencils paintings, and I went back at landscape ones, still trying to find a better way to do foliage, still struggling with the leaves on the branches, and hopefully with persistence I will get there.
I liked two different pictures and after looking at them for awhile I decided to put them together and added the bird to finish the design so I could have a new painting done with my color pencils.
another finished painting of a landscape. I had this picture quite a long time and when looking for another landscape painting ,I came across this one ,so I decided to do it.I never done these trees before with color pencils.I have done them in an acrylic painting few years ago.
I went to visit my daughter for a few days. I was so happy to have the Whiskey Jack eat from my hand, I didn't think they would. My son-in-law took these photos.
Here is a new color pencils painting. I thought I try my hand on doing fruits for a change. I did not too bad on this one. I must admit doing still life is not my forte. Oh well...........
These are chinese birds. As the previous picture was a kit for "thread painting"this second one was also the other bird in the kit. I wanted to do these birds in colour pencils for now.I enjoyed doing them very much.
I just finished this new colored pencils painting.I bought the kit to be done in thread painting, and it takes so longto do, I though i do it in colored pencil for now.
As I have'nt any new picture of my needlepoint, I am posting this picture.Hope you enjoy it. I am still working on my needlepoints but it does take a long time . In between I am working on a couple color pencils pictures.Enjoy .
More work done on this new needlepoint. I found that the face was a lot of work as it is a bit more delicate than the dress part. Now I will be working on the foliage. It is getting there slowly . it needs a lot of patience.....
I have always had a love of the computer and had a desire to have a blog. With the help of my daughter, that has now become a reality.
I am french by birth, and taught myself English at a young age - please forgive my sometimes incorrect grammar.
I am a mother of four children, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
I like to create all kinds of different things and am constantly working on something. I do everything from needlepoint, embroider, and cross stitch, to painting, drawing and writing.
I love to learn and enjoy the challenge of learning a new craft or task on the computer.
Sometimes, changes are a good thing!!!
