Finish CQ block.

Finally I have finish to embellish my CQ block. I really did not know what to put on ,but by the same token I did not want a lot of other colors. I wanted to stay in the same hue as the background of the satin, I also wanted some brilliance to the piece. Hard decision what to use, I finally opt for gold and white small beads. and few pearls. This is to be a cushion for my bedroom and I wanted it to be very fancy. I hope I achieve what I wanted. I will be able to tell once the cushion is made.

Poem: Mushroom Land.

In many part of the forest
stand some clearing.
there is a small place
called Mushroom Land.

There,the fairy Queen
Wearing her crown,
supervise the wood elves
chopping down a toadstool.

If you happened to walk by
you would think only
mushrooms are growing ,
you would be wrong.

Tiny people called Elves
make their home
among the mushrooms
as well as Fairies.

When twilight comes
upon Mushroom Land,
you can see Elves and Fairies
come out to dance.

Elves and Fairies
dance only at dusk.
they went on with this play
until midnight.

Then the Elves
goes into the boughs
of a big tree
to sleep.

The fairies
curl up
under the mushrooms
to dream of good time.

More reflections on nature.

Reflections.

Nature is the color of trees,
sound of birds,
cry of the loons.

The forest is
a sanctuary
to all creatures
large or small.

Meditation is
speaking
to God.

Early in the morning
the sun shining,
dewdrops sparkle
like diamond

If one thoughts are
forever on the past
and future
one is missing today.

On a moonless night
electricity from the stars
light the sky
from black to indigo.

Short Poems.

While walking in the bush
at Heather place,
I saw a little woodland fern,
with a soft banner raised
at his side.
beside it a tiny flower looked up
at the fern
with humble praise.

A quiet peace stole over me
as I in silence stood
and listened to God music.

I saw the lofty pines above,
reach up in praise to God.
I heard the breeze
play gentle notes
among them ,
as I trod along.
