These are chinese birds.As the previous picture was a kit for "thread painting"this second one was also the other bird in the kit. I wanted to do these birds in colour pencils for now.I enjoyed doing them very much.

Hi Mum... great job on your two recent coloured pencils (sorry I missed posting on the last one)... I know you are enjoying taking a break from stitching for a while, and this is a great way to keep busy at something enjoyable. Hugs.

ReplyDeleteanother lovely picture. I think it a good idea colouring this part of the kit, it familiarizes you with the way you will have to lay your stitches when doing the kit in embroidery. Giving dimension to a flat coloured paper is not easy so I imagine that you have to play with the colours lots...........
Very well done once again!
As Heather said, it is nice to take a break from stitching yet being creative with colours!
