Here is the picture of myCQ block finished as a cushion for my bedroom. I am thinking of making a couple more in different color and material,or a medium size hang-up. I did not make up my mind yet.
Finally I have finish to embellish my CQ block. I really did not know what to put on ,but by the same token I did not want a lot of other colors. I wanted to stay in the same hue as the background of the satin, I also wanted some brilliance to the piece. Hard decision what to use, I finally opt for gold and white small beads. and few pearls. This is to be a cushion for my bedroom and I wanted it to be very fancy. I hope I achieve what I wanted. I will be able to tell once the cushion is made.
While walking in the bush at Heather place, I saw a little woodland fern, with a soft banner raised at his side. beside it a tiny flower looked up at the fern with humble praise.
A quiet peace stole over me as I in silence stood and listened to God music.
I saw the lofty pines above, reach up in praise to God. I heard the breeze play gentle notes among them , as I trod along.
I have always had a love of the computer and had a desire to have a blog. With the help of my daughter, that has now become a reality.
I am french by birth, and taught myself English at a young age - please forgive my sometimes incorrect grammar.
I am a mother of four children, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
I like to create all kinds of different things and am constantly working on something. I do everything from needlepoint, embroider, and cross stitch, to painting, drawing and writing.
I love to learn and enjoy the challenge of learning a new craft or task on the computer.
