I had done this embroidery a couple years ago. Unfortunetly I put it away with some other things and could not find it. In the last few days ,when Heather was here we were looking at some material I have( a lot) and behold there was my embroidery among some of the self color fabric. Was I glad to find it. So yesterday I sewed it together and put it in a pillow form and (voila) another finished cushion with my initial again. I used silk embroidery thread for the flowers and metallic thread for my initial in my favorite color purple. It turned out very nifty I think.
Mum, you did a great job on this.... and it is always nice to finish a UFO! I would never have guessed you would think to use purple, BVG! Hugs.
